The Orbital Assembly Platform (OAP) was a shipyard positioned in high orbit over Earth, capable of building or repairing two ships simultaneously.
The Platform was constructed just after the Earth had learned of the Jung Dynasty’s conquest of the core systems and was the largest structure to be constructed in space since the recovery began on Earth. Since its construction the platform had produced six Defender-class warships, starting with the Defender, and two Explorer-class ships. The platform was destroyed during the Jung conquest of Earth in 3472.
